This tiny machine produces an impressive sound, especially given its uber-portable size. The controls are intuitive, and it works beautifully with my iPod Touch. That said, I have two problems with it. First, the display is too bright for me. The numbers are black on a white-lit background, and even if I put it on the dimmest setting (there are 3), it’s still glaringly bright when I wake up at night. I wind up turning off the display altogether, which negates the point of having a clock radio next to the bed in the first place. My second problem is that there is one single button that controls the alarm on/alarm off function, and it’s millimeters from the music on/music off button. So if I’m listening to music at night before bed and accidentally hit the alarm-off button when I turn it off, I’m going to miss my wake-up time the next morning. I’d prefer it if they situated that button on the back, or with a hard right-left switch that a tired and clumsy person won’t accidentally hit.
This meets my needs and is adorable to boot! It’s actually smaller than I was expecting and has great sound. I will be taking this when I travel! So glad I made the purchase! Thank you Amazon!!
Magnificent sound for such a small thing! And it really is great that it’s not one of those huge taking-all-the-space-on-your-night-table players.
There are minor flaws which is why I gave only 4 stars. It doesn’t play the radio on the 5th Gen iPod Nano while docked. It does play it through an audio cable (sold seperately) but then it can’t be docked so the iPod loses power. And you can’t use the radio for the wake up. And the back support in the docking system for different iPod models is a bit shaky but then again.. These are just minor flaws that bother me very little.
Nice product! Great sound quality. Fits nicely on a nightstand and doesn’t take up much room in a travel bag, making it very portable. Perfect for the younger set, looks and color-wise. My pre-teen loves it! I would imagine that many “post-teens” would love it too!
It’s simply, easy to use, I’ve had it for almost a year and it’s working perfectly. The sound is not super loud but for me works perfectly, i didn’t buy it for a party, just to listen to music while i chill at home.
